The laboratory of physics of ferroelectrics is known to scientific community by works on investigation of critical phenomena in ferroelectric crystals.
   For years of working There were developed and applied for study precision methods of investigations elastic, dielectric, thermal properties of defferent type of ferroelectrics near phase transition points.
   There ware prepared about 20 Ph.D. thesises in the laboratory.
   The book by B.AStrukov. and A.P. Levanyuk «Ferroelectric Phenomena in Crystals» was published in 1983 and 1995 and was translated into the english, spanish and japan languages.
   In 1987 the members of the laboratory recievied Lomonosov prize for cycle of investigations of ferroelectric phase transitions.
